The reusable block
allows you to save a block or group of blocks which you can later use in any post or page on your site. If you are often adding the same content to the same block or group of blocks, the reusable blocks will save you a great chunk of time.

If you reuse the same content and you do not want to keep typing the content, every time you log in to your dashboard; the reusable block is perfect for you. The Reusable block is a great time saver, once you save the reusable block, you can call it anytime you want use that content.

To avoid adding the same content to a paragraph block every time you want to place it at the end of your post, you can make it a reusable block using these steps:

Let’s say you have a piece of content you add to the bottom of every post like say: Follow us Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram or a call to action with links to an affiliate program.

  1. Select a paragraph block.
  2. Click on the three dots.
  3. Click on Add to Reusable blocks.
  4. Give it a name.
  5. Click Save.

Locating Reusable Blocks

The reusable blocks you create on your site is located in the Reusable blocks section at the top right corner of the editor.

Your reusable blocks can be edited and customized to meet your needs.

Convert to Regular Blocks

After inserting a reusable block, you can select Convert to regular blocks if you wish to make any changes to the block on that page or post only.
